An aspiring artist and designer, Sam is recent graduate from DePaul University, getting their Masters degree in animation with a concentration in character design and storyboarding.
Most of their work is found in the art of storytelling and they are currently putting most focus on writing a graphic novel.
Born and raised in the city of Chicago, Sam has been an avid art lover since they held their first crayon. Every minute of their spare time is spent sketching, designing, conceptualizing and storytelling – their family still jokes about the time they brought a sketch book along on a tour of Niagara Falls while in junior high.
Other aspects of Sam’s artistic interests include costume design and construction, scenic painting and film and digital photography. When not creating, Sam can be found playing ice hockey with the Chicago North Stars, cosplaying with their friends, or enjoying time outdoors with their beagle, Lars.
